A meeting of the General Committee was held yesterday at which the question of the Road was considered.

It was unanimously resolved that the action of the Executive Committee be approved and that the question be referred to the Secretary of State, with a complete statement of what has occurred in relation to it.

When the statement has been prepared by the Executive Committee, it will be forwarded to His Excellency the Governor for transmission to the Secretary of State.
